Pressure transmitter

Pressure transmitters are devices used to measure pressure in various applications. Pressure transducers work by converting pressure into an electrical signal that can be read and processed by monitoring or control devices. The most popular pressure transmitters have analog output signals: voltage 0…10 V or current 4…20 mA. Pressure transmitters with other analogue as well as digital signals are also available: IO-Link, CANopen, RS 485 Modbus. Pressure transmitters are characterized by specific accuracy, measurement range and resistance to external factors such as temperature or humidity. Their proper operation is crucial wherever pressure monitoring is important for the safety, quality or efficiency of processes. At Poltraf, we offer pressure transmitters from Swiss manufacturers: Trafag and STS. Trafag bases its production of pressure transducers on strain gauge technology - sensors with a thin layer on steel, as well as ceramic sensors. STS pressure transducers are manufactured based on piezoresistive technology.
