Report from the 32nd WOD-KAN 2026 fair in Bydgoszcz

The 32nd WOD-KAN fair in Bydgoszcz is behind us - an event with a history as long as Poltraf.

The 32nd Water and Sewage Trade Fair in Bydgoszcz is behind us. We would like to thank everyone once again for the numerous visits to our booth and the opportunity to showcase the measurement devices we offer. At the fair in Bydgoszcz, we showcased, among others:

  • Pressure transducers, including the Trafag FPT transducer, which, due to its flat diaphragm, we call it a pressure transducer for special applications, as it is ideal for measuring pressure in "difficult" media, viscous media, media containing solids, etc.
  • Level probes, including the Trafag TLR probe, which, due to its radar measurement technology, is ideal for challenging applications.
  • Flow meters, including this year's new product from Comac Cal – the Flow55 electromagnetic flow meter for partially filled pipes. The demonstration of this flow meter in operation, along with the IoT module, generated enormous interest from visitors. Numerous water quality measurement devices from In-Situ, including the RDOBlue dissolved oxygen sensor, the SludgeWatch sludge level detector, and the AquaTROLL series multi-parameter water quality probe with a VuLink telemetry module, are available. All of these devices are characterized by high measurement accuracy and ease of use.
  • New: portable, economical AK series water parameter testers from AKSO. Handy, small cases contain everything needed for quick measurements, such as chlorine (AK40) or iron (AK46).
  • Personal detectors from ION Science: single-gas (ARA) or multi-gas (ARA-X4), which ensure greater safety for employees, for example, in the water and sewage industry due to exposure to high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide.

All days of the fair were filled with numerous meetings and discussions at the Poltraf booth. On the first day of the fair, Rafał Korzec, Head of Sales at Poltraf, gave a lecture on gravity wastewater measurement using the Flow55 electromagnetic flowmeter. For the first time, we demonstrated the operation of this flowmeter at our booth, even when the pipe is not completely full. Thanks to the IoT module, the flow measurement was immediately visible on a tablet mounted next to the flowmeter. It's safe to say that the Flow55 electromagnetic flowmeter for measuring flow in gravity systems was the device we received the most frequent inquiries about this year from visitors.

We invite you to view a short photo gallery from the trade show.

Thank you again for your numerous visits, and we hope to see you at other industry events!
