We invite you to the Poltraf conference "FLOW MEASUREMENT: CHALLENGES - TECHNOLOGIES - SOLUTIONS". This year's conference will be particularly devoted to flow meters: their proper selection and installation. In addition to electromagnetic flowmeters, we will present ultrasonic flowmeters for non-invasive measurement of liquid flow: both for permanent installation, as well as battery solutions, as well as an ultrasonic flowmeter for open channels. New in our offer is a Coriolis mass flowmeter and Pitot tubes for measuring the flow of gases, water vapor and liquids.
The conference will be held in Gdańsk, which has been the headquarters of our company from the beginning, i.e. for 30 years.
This year's edition of the Poltraf conference is an opportunity to gain practical knowledge as well as additional attractions. Our guests will be able to take part in a tour of the history of Gdańsk and Poltraf. We will also take a cruise on the Motława River on a replica of a historic boat - a gallar, which will allow us to see Gdańsk from a different perspective.
Conference participants only cover the cost of accommodation.

We have already delivered nearly 1,000 electromagnetic flowmeters to our customers. The experience we have gained has shown us the most common problems encountered by designers, installers, and users of these devices. In this article, we will focus on the proper selection of an electromagnetic flowmeter.

A pressure transmitter is a commonly used device that converts the pressure value into an appropriate output signal. The signal from the pressure transmitter is read and forwarded to the control system. In times of shrinking fossil fuel resources, looking for alternative energy sources is a necessity. Hence the increasing popularity of hydrogen, which is the most common element in the Universe and one of the most common elements on Earth. However, not every pressure transmitter can be used to work with hydrogen. Why is it like that? Which sensor technology in the pressure transmitter is best for this medium? We answer these questions below.
