On September 20-22, the Quality-Water-Wastewater conference for the Water and Sewage industry was held in Polańczyk. This is another edition of the event dedicated to the industry, organized by Poltraf.
This time it was devoted to water quality issues. Our guests had the opportunity to learn about In-Situ products, including the Partech brand, presented by Paul Norman and David Wilson. Conference participants could learn about, among others: with multi-parameter water quality probes from the Aqua TROLL series, TurbiTechw2 suspension and turbidity sensor, SludgeWatch 715 sediment level detector and many others. The presentation of electromagnetic flowmeters and other devices from Comac Cal, led by Marcel Maceček and Jana Shepperson, was also very popular. Conference participants could also listen to a lecture by Dawid Stachowiak from Green 3 on improving sewage parameters by aerating pumped pipes in the pumping station. There was also a presentation of other devices for the water and sewage industry offered by Poltraf, including hydrostatic probes and pressure transducers.
The second day of the conference was devoted to "entertainment". We sailed on Lake Solina and visited the Solina Hydroelectric Power Plant. The gondola ride allowed us to admire the dam in Solina and beautiful Bieszczady views from a great height.
We would like to thank all conference participants and speakers for their commitment. Thanks to you, we will certainly remember this year's edition of our conference for the water and sewage industry for a long time.

The 32nd edition of the WOD-KAN Fair will take place in Bydgoszcz next week. A key part of Poltraf's business is the distribution of measurement devices for the water and sewage industry. That's why we couldn't miss this event.

The next edition of the Poltraf conference will be held on October 8-10, 2025. This time, it will be devoted to new devices for measuring flow, level, pressure, temperature and measurements of water and gas parameters in environmental and process conditions.

How much wastewater actually ends up in the sewer system, and how much is recorded "on paper"? Many manufacturing plants still base their billing on water consumption, even though the actual amount of wastewater discharged can vary significantly. In an era of rising treatment costs and increasingly stringent environmental requirements, this approach is no longer acceptable. More and more companies are seeking reliable methods for measuring wastewater flow in gravity sewers, because without reliable data, there is neither control nor cost optimization. In this article, we will answer the question of how to measure wastewater flow in pipes that are not fully filled.
