The TurbiTechw2 sensor is an easy to use and accurate measurement device for measuring suspended solids and turbidity. TurbiTechw2 is equipped with a unique, fully automatic self-cleaning system that ensures that the optical surfaces of the device are kept clean at all times. TurbiTechw² seals are designed to be user replaceable. Maintenance of the TurbiTechw² requires no special technical training.

  •     The semiconductor infrared light source ensures stable measurements.
  •     The TurbiTechw² sensor has a large sample volume, minimizing the impact of fine particles on reading accuracy.

 TurbiTechw2 - low cost of use

  •     The mechanical cleaning system eliminates the expensive and cumbersome compressors required for air blast cleaning. The sensor can be serviced in minutes without the need for specialized training.
  •     The cleaning process is automatically initiated by the 7300w² Monitor (sold separately) at a user-defined frequency. It only lasts 90 seconds.

TurbiTechw2 - types of sensors

  •  The TurbiTechw² LS sensor is designed to monitor suspended solids levels and turbidity in final effluents at wastewater treatment plants. It is also ideal for monitoring solids at the inlet of sewage into treatment plants, as well as in drinking water treatment processes.
  • The TurbiTechw² LA sensor is designed for aeration systems monitoring suspended solids where solids content is typically in the range of 1500 to 3500 mg/L. The sensor can also measure recycled activated sludge, excess activated sludge and suspended solids or turbidity.
  • The TurbiTechw² HR sensor is specifically designed for use in wastewater treatment systems where high suspended solids levels are desired in the aeration phase. Bioreactors (MBR) typically operate with suspended solids values ​​in the range of 8,000 to 14,000 mg/l.
