On the first day of the conference, our guests had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the offer of electromagnetic flowmeters from the Czech manufacturer Comac Cal. Marcel Maceček and Jana Shepperson also touched upon the issue of proper selection and installation of electromagnetic flowmeters.
The next part of the conference was the debut of Lucas Dudkowski (in Polish!) from the German company Systec Controls, who for the first time could present the offer of measuring devices from this German manufacturer to a wide Polish audience. Ultrasonic flowmeters, Coriolis flowmeters or the Pitot tube patented by Systec Controls - Lukas' presentation met with great interest among conference participants.
The day of lectures ended with a very interesting presentation by Alberto Bonamin regarding the offer of MACE - a company belonging to In-Situ. FlowPro XCi by MACE is a device that allows you to measure flow in filled, partially filled pipes and open channels. It can also be used to monitor water quality using the entire range of In-Situ products.
At our conference this year, we also hosted John Pawlikowski - president of In-Situ and Paul Norman (In-Situ Process Sales Engineer). We were also visited by Nick Loades - European Sales Manager from ION Science.
The second day of the conference was devoted to "entertainment". Although the weather was not very kind to us this year, our guests showed up in the morning for the planned trip. After receiving food rations and rationing cards, we went to the Old Town of Gdańsk in the historic Ikarus. There we took a gala cruise on the Motława River. We ate lunch in Zieleniak - the office building where the first headquarters of our company was located. From the top floor, where the restaurant is located, we could admire the beautiful panorama of the Old Town. We ended the day with a gala dinner and fun in the casino.
We would like to thank all conference participants and speakers for their commitment. Thanks to you, we will certainly remember this year's edition of our conference for a long time.

The International Trade Fair of Machines and Devices for Water Supply and Sewage WOD-KAN took place on 20-22 May 2025. This is the 31st edition of the trade fair, which attracted many exhibitors and people who wanted to familiarize themselves with new devices and technologies dedicated to the water and sewage industry to Bydgoszcz.

The experience we have gained has shown us the most common problems encountered by designers and installers of these devices. The Poltraf FLOW MEASUREMENT: CHALLENGES – TECHNOLOGIES – SOLUTIONS conference was held on October 2-4. Available technologies, advantages and comments regarding individual solutions were presented by our partners: Comac Cal, Systec Controls and In-Situ (MACE). The conference was also an opportunity to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our company, which is why this year we met in Gdańsk, where Poltraf has been based since the very beginning of its operations.
