It is a precise, reliable and maintenance-free instrument, manufactured by the Swiss company Trafag, for monitoring the density of SF₆ gas and other related alternative gases. The Arctic monitor is based on the principle of reference gas density and reliably maintains the condensation alarm condition until it returns to normal.
